Job description
Position: Office Manager
Location: Manchester Business Park Office 347, 3000 Aviator Way, Manchester, United Kingdom, M22 5TG
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Full-Time, between 09:30 and 5pm, Monday to Friday
Salary: £38,710 p/a
Primary responsibilities are:
To Oversee daily operations to ensure office efficiency and compliance with UK immigration law
- Plan work schedules, assign tasks, and manage staff performance
- Handle immigration client interactions and respond to inquiries
- Ensure proper handling of sensitive immigration documents and client files
- Oversee budgeting, invoicing, expense tracking, and maintain financial records
- Manage procedures for issuing and amending immigration-related legal documents
- Coordinate activities and resources across all offices for alignment
- Train and support administrative staff to ensure optimal performance
- Schedule client appointments and manage firm logistics
• ⁃ Identify and resolve operational issues to maintain service quality and client satisfaction
Experience
3-4 years in same/similar role required
Qualifications
- Degree in Business Management or Level 4 certificate as Office Manager with IAA or any relevant field which is equivalent to such qualification in the UK highly preferred, along with certificates in risk management and anti-money laundering.
AND
- Candidate must have strong research organizational skills and must stay up-to-date with any changes in UK Immigration law.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and immigration research databases.
- Must be fluent in English
- If applying from outside the UK, must have passed Secure English Language
- Test (SELT) from an approved provider to at least B1 CEFR Scale or above
